Kristyn & Mike | Maternity Session | Maple Valley, WA

This little growing family means so much to me! They are a big reason we made our BIG move to the PNW and we have bonded so much over the last 3 years. Thanks to our hubbies, Kristyn and I have become super close friends and I have been so honored to be apart of such a big journey of hers. 

To get to this point hasn't been easy for them, but I am so excited they are finally expecting!! Maternity photos was a must and we did them with little time to spare, as their little one needed to come out a lot sooner than expected. We had such a fun, relaxing shoot at and near their home in Maple Valley. Big sister-to-be, Graylee, was a perfect addition to their session.

Karrie | Seattle Maternity Photographer | Issaquah, WA

It has been far too long since I have blogged a session. My apologies! From here on out, I will be blogging every single session with my favorite images. It is one of the best ways for future clients to view the best of my work. 

So, to kick off 2016, I had an amazing maternity session with a beautiful mommy at one of my favorite spots in Issaquah. Her baby-girl-to-be was giving us a little scare and we didn't doubt she was going to come before our shoot, but we managed to meet just in time! Although it was freezing out that morning and began to snow on us, everyone was such troopers… even big brother!!

I can't wait to meet and photograph the new addition in a couple weeks!!

LJ's Baby Bump | Seattle Maternity Photographer | Renton, WA

These 2 adorable parents-to-be are new to the Pacific Northwest and are expecting their first baby next month… a boy!! It was my first time meeting them and they were just so fun to work with from the beginning. Like all husbands, John wasn't too excited about taking photos, but in the end, I would say he enjoyed it ;).

Finding an outdoor location can be challenging sometimes, but when you live in an area as beautiful as ours, you let perfect locations pass you by sometimes. Maplewood Roadside Park in Renton, WA is a busy place for biking, walking, and fishing. And, it's a place I pass far too often. I am so happy LJ suggested we try there because it was the perfect place!! I think it fit their personality wonderfully and the scenery and lighting couldn't have been better. 

The last little photos we did were for fun, as dad-to-be is a pretty good chef at one of my mom's most favorite place up here!! As we wait for baby to arrive, I will have to create a fun, chef themed pose for their baby bun once he comes out of the oven!!

Ashley's Maternity Session | Seattle Maternity Photographer | Issaquah, WA

It is so fun being able to photograph moms-to-be before their newborn session. It gives us a chance to get to know each other some and makes for a much more relaxing newborn shoot. I get so excited to see what is inside those bellies!!!

This adorable couple met me in Issaquah for their maternity shoot and we had so much fun! Ashley was absolutely glowing the entire time and is so excited to meet her first, a baby boy!! Not only am I excited to see what he looks like, but I am really anxious to hear the name they chose.

Maria | Seattle Maternity Photographer | Point Defiance Park, WA

This gorgeous mommy-to-be booked a "Belly to Baby" package with me. I don't shoot outdoors as often as I do indoors, but I do love outdoor maternity sessions. As the weather warms up, I am definitely getting to shoot outdoors more and more. The change of scenery is nice. And, the location that Maria chose for her maternity session was very beautiful. She wanted bold, vibrant colors and I would have to say that Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA delivered just that. 

I brought a lace maternity gown for some poses and we had a great time with that. Dad-to-be was a great assistant and we shared some laughs. There were far too many favorites of mine from the session, but here are some of the top ones. I am so excited to meet their baby boy!!
