Owen | Gas Works Park | Seattle, WA

2 1/2 years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting little Owen and his adorable parents. I clearly remember our conversation as we wrapped up his newborn session and mom's desire to capture Owen through photos as often as possible. Dad was a little confused as to why they needed so many sessions as we continued meeting every few months that first year, but I think he has now come around and we all really enjoy seeing each other so often.

For Owen's 2 1/2 year milestone, we met at Gas Works Park in Seattle, WA... a spot I've always wanted to shoot at!! It may have been a freezing morning, but we took advantage of the dry morning and made it as quick as possible. Owen may have been a little clingy, but I absolutely adore those cuddly shots we got. Until next time, G Family!!!

Harper is ONE | Cake Smash | Maple Valley, WA

Harper and her family are new to the PNW and I am so glad we connected. It has been fun capturing their special moments over the last few months and I look forward to watching little Harper grow through my lens.

Harper just celebrated her first birthday!! We had a very fun and active shoot at her home here in Maple Valley. As expected, she was more excited about all of the balloons than the cake, but she never stopped smiling!!

Happy 1st birthday, Harper!!!

Archer is 2 | Northwest Railway Museum | Snoqualmie, WA

After a much needed break over the holidays, I am back behind the camera!! And, because I had plenty of time (ha!) to get 100% caught up with business related things, I am trying to make it a point to keep my blog updated with my favorites from each session. So, here we go!!!

I cannot believe Archer is TWO!!! Where has the time gone?! I first met Archer when he was in mommy's belly and we have had so much fun over the years with all of our milestone sessions. Little Archer has a love for trains, so we met up at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA. Although he was through with us halfway into our mini session, I think we captured those beautiful little curls and cutest smile perfectly. Now, stop growing up so fast, Archer!! Happy 2nd birthday!!!

Owen | 18 Months | Discovery Park, Seattle

What a familiar face this is!!! I absolutely love Owen and his family. Not only because of how fun and crazy our shoots get, but because of how loyal they are as clients. They have stuck by me from the very beginning and I am so thankful for that. I understand the need to "photographer jump" from time to time, but if you are 100% committed to me as your photographer, I am 150% committed to you!! It's such a wonderful relationship I have with them and I feel so fortunate to watch this little guy grow every few months.

We met at Discovery Park in Seattle for Owen's 18 month mini milestone session. Boy, is that a popular place!!! I am so happy we decided to shoot there because I have been eyeing it for quite some time! Thanks for another great session, Owen!

My Family | Batman Family Halloween Costumes | Maple Valley, WA

Halloween is a favorite holiday in this household! As often as we can (and, for as long as our kids will allow it), we love to coordinate costumes.

With 3 boys, it was so fun to do a Batman theme. Daddy was overjoyed to jump in and dress as Commissioner Gordon. As wet and rainy as it was, I am so happy to have everyone cooperate for a quick pic in a great alley we found in Enumclaw.

Cynthia is TWO | Seattle Child Photographer | Issaquah, WA

Remember this perfect little face?! It seems like I just did Cynthia's one year shoot, and now she is TWO!!! She just gets cuter and cuter. I know, I know… the most beautiful eyes and lips!

We met in Issaquah at one of my favorite spots. I had my handy-growing hubby throw together a DIY teepee and that set up came together nicely! Perfect with the location. We then went with a vintage coca-cola theme and Cynthia just made that all look perfect!!! I am very pleased with her session. Although we had a bit of a meltdown towards the end, Cynthia was one amazing, cooperative two year old. Following direction, staying put, and constant eye contact… I couldn't ask for much more!!

Enjoy some from her session..

Sam's 2 Year Shoot | Seattle Children Photographer | Issaquah, WA

Here is a familiar face… my little baby boy!! I cannot believe Sam turned 2 last month. It is crazy to think how quickly he is growing. Each day that passes, I see more toddler and less baby, which makes this mama very sad because he is my last! I just want to freeze time forever. Okay, maybe not during his fabulous terrible two moments, but all the other innocent and precious times need to slow down.

We set out to a nearby town for his very quick shoot. Issaquah is such a beautiful place and so many gorgeous fields along the main roads. I always drive by, saying, "Oh that field would be a great place to take photos!" So, what better time to take advantage of one then now? I fell in love with the location and it will definitely be a frequent shoot spot for me.

Sam was definitely his 2 year old self, not wanting to sit still. I thought his little tricycle would make for a cute photo prop so we can always remember his extreme love for cars, trains, bikes… anything with wheels!! And, in the end, the tricycle was perfect to get him to sit still for a few moments.

His older brothers, Jack and Max, came along to help. And much to my surprise, they wanted to be in photos and even model for me!!!! What?!!! That has NEVER happened! I usually have to get them prepared weeks before, bribing them with all sorts of desserts and treats. I was shocked, but hey, I will take it! They may have had dirty shoes, messy hair, and no coordinating outfits, but that's what I love about it!!

Enjoy photos of these guys. They are my everything and when I look at how handsome and big they are getting, I can't help but smile. I am one lucky mama!!!
