11 day old, Watson, and his cute little family came to my home studio in Maple Valley last week. Boy was he such a good little model for me… I don't think I heard a peep out of him throughout the entire session. Even when he was wide awake, he just let me do my thing and barely moved a muscle. He had an amazing big sister who was so well behaved and quite the character… we got some great personality shining through in her photos!! All in all, this was one of the quickest and smoothest newborn sessions to date… several poses in just 2 hours!! Enjoy…

Maple Valley Baby Photographer | Seattle Baby Photographer {Sam's ONE Year Cake Smash}

This past year has flown by and I cannot believe my youngest just turned ONE!! I have had such a blast photographing my little guy over the past 12 months, but I gotta take advantage of that while he's little because his big brothers get very annoyed with mommy and her camera now.

We are planning a big birthday celebration when we visit California in a couple weeks, and the theme for our Sam-I-Am is Dr. Seuss!! I designed his invitations with these cake smash photos and I just adore them! A client of mine introduced me to a new fun shoot… a cake smash AND splash!! So, we got out a bucket and bubbles and had lots of fun after he got all messy from all that smashing. Here are my favorites.

Maple Valley | Seattle Newborn Photographer {Baby Wyatt}

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing 6 day old, Wyatt. He came to my home studio here in Maple Valley just loving being wrapped and cuddled. That made things a little challenging as we attempted pose after pose, but as I always promise, he eventually gave up the fight and we captured all that unwrapped cuteness.

His very proud big sister, Hazel, even jumped in for a few shots and I was very pleasantly surprised how well she took direction. Her smiles just screamed, "I'm a big sister!!!"

10 day old Lucy came to my home studio here in Maple Valley last week for her newborn session. She was just so tiny and content, and quite the little grinner… I just loved her!!! We got through all of her poses so quickly and had time for some poses with mommy and daddy, which are absolutely priceless. It was hard picking just a few favorites...
