Michael is ONE | Lake Wilderness Park | Maple Valley, WA

The last year has gone by way too fast for Michael's mommy, that's for sure! I can't believe it has been so long since his newborn session. Time sure does fly!!!

We met at Lake Wilderness Park here in Maple Valley for his one year shoot. It may have been chilly (dude, where is the warm sun?!!), but at least it was dry for a change. He is having a lumberjack themed birthday party, so we took advantage of the woods around us and had some fun with props. I even made mom jump in a few shots (always a must!!).

Owen | Gas Works Park | Seattle, WA

2 1/2 years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting little Owen and his adorable parents. I clearly remember our conversation as we wrapped up his newborn session and mom's desire to capture Owen through photos as often as possible. Dad was a little confused as to why they needed so many sessions as we continued meeting every few months that first year, but I think he has now come around and we all really enjoy seeing each other so often. 

For Owen's 2 1/2 year milestone, we met at Gas Works Park in Seattle, WA... a spot I've always wanted to shoot at!! It may have been a freezing morning, but we took advantage of the dry morning and made it as quick as possible. Owen may have been a little clingy, but I absolutely adore those cuddly shots we got. Baby Luke | Mini Milestone | Maple Valley, WA

I had the pleasure of meeting 6 month old Luke for a mini milestone session last week and boy did we have a beautiful session!!! These lifestyle shoots at the client's home have got to be one of my favorites! I am so happy I ventured away from all of the distraction of props and backdrops and really focused in on the subject and simple surroundings. Less is definitely more!!

Luke is just a happy baby and definitely loves his mama! We had a lot of fun with him and it didn't take much for him to smile. I even had mom jump in there at the end and I absolutely adore those shots we got!! Happy 1/2 birthday, Luke! I am looking forward to seeing you again soon!

  

Archer is 2 | Northwest Railway Museum | Snoqualmie, WA

After a much needed break over the holidays, I am back behind the camera!! And, because I had plenty of time (ha!) to get 100% caught up with business related things, I am trying to make it a point to keep my blog updated with my favorites from each session. So, here we go!!!

I cannot believe Archer is TWO!!! Where has the time gone?! I first met Archer when he was in mommy's belly and we have had so much fun over the years with all of our milestone sessions. Little Archer has a love for trains, so we met up at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA. Although he was through with us halfway into our mini session, I think we captured those beautiful little curls and cutest smile perfectly. Now, stop growing up so fast, Archer!! Happy 2nd birthday!!!

Baby Mason | Mini Milestone | Maple Valley, WA

Meet 4 1/2 month old Mason!! Isn't he adorable?! 

I was welcomed into his home to do a mini milestone session a couple weeks ago. I just love stepping away from the studio and props, photographing these little ones in their homes. These lifestyle shots are always my favorite!! We got so many great ones in just 30 minutes, even ones with mom and dad!

I am looking forward to working with this local family again in the future. It was so great meeting them! Enjoy a few of my favorites...

Baby Benjamin | Spring Mini Session | Maple Valley, WA

Eeeekkk!! This little guy has grown so much since his newborn session and he is SO adorable!! I can't get over the chunkiness.
