Baby William | Seattle Newborn Photographer | Maple Valley, WA

My very first newborn session of 2015 was this little guy… 12 day new baby William! He came into this world a little earlier than his due date, but mom and baby got out of the hospital just in time to celebrate Christmas!

Big brother Henry (who I get to photograph for his 2 year session in a couple weeks) wasn't all too interested in taking photos with his new baby brother, but I was able to snap some kisses from Henry AND some smiles from William.

I came across this location last year (so hard to find since most photographers don't like to share locations!) and I am so happy I finally got to use it. Michele is expecting a baby boy next month and we got her in for maternity photos just in time! We got very lucky with the weather, and although it was a pretty foggy day, we avoided the rain and freezing weather. Pretty good for the first weekend of January in the Pacific Northwest!! Not only did we get great shots with dad-to-be, but big brother "Trooper" made an adorable appearance for some poses. He's a great little guy. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. Looking forward to photographing their newborn for them!!

Owen's 4 Month Mini | Seattle Baby Photographer | Maple Valley, WA

It has been 4 months since Owen's newborn session and he was just as good this time around as he was then! It is so amazing how much these babies mature in just the matter of a few months. He is one happy guy and we got tons of expressions from him during his mini milestone session. Mom surprised me with the fact that he is already starting to sit up on his own… only 4 months old!! I can guarantee we will get some awesome shots at his 6 month session coming up. It is so nice to be able to watch this little guy grow through my lens. 

Baby Rylan | Seattle Newborn Photographer | Maple Valley, WA

11 day new Rylan came to my home studio in Maple Valley, WA for her newborn session… my last session of 2014! It was such a pleasure working with her adorable mom and dad… thank you for being so patient with me. This cute little girl definitely put up a fight!! She had no problem eating, sleepy, and being held, but the moment you went to touch to move her, she was not a happy camper!! We all made it through the 4 hour session with some great shots. Newborn photography is not as easy as it looks!!
