Sophia's First Birthday

I am really trying to get caught up on my blog, so I am taking us back all the way to July!

Little Ms. Sophia was turning ONE!! Her mom had a cute peach tea stand made for her themed birthday party, so we incorporated that into some of her photos. It may have taken us all shoot long, but we finally got a smile out of her =).

6 Month Old Hunter

Hunter is 6 months old and his photo shoot was so adorable!!  Not being able to sit independently is a challenge, but this little guy did not mind showing us those cute little buns while laying on his belly =).  This shoot took place at his home in Menifee and although it was a very hot and dry day, we managed to get it all done outdoors.  He was so fun to work with and I can't wait to see him again!

Baby Gavin

So, I had the honor of doing my first newborn shoot.  I have heard all sorts of scary stories from photographers about their first attempt at shooting a newborn, so I just wasn't too sure what to expect.  Pooh, pee, spit up, and everything else that comes out of babies was expected.  I didn't want to set my expectations too high, so I hoped I would get some good shots in under 3 hours.  Well, much to my surprise, baby Gavin was just perfect!! He was well fed, very sleepy, and very cooperative.  I think it is safe to say that I had beginners luck =).  The shoot took less then 2 hours and I am very happy with the results.  Oh, and mom is beyond satisfied.  Enjoy some of my favs...

Graduation Shoot with Kenzie!

Kenzie has earned her degree at CSUSB and I got the honor of taking her graduation photos.  Wow, is this girl beautiful!!!  She had never had professional photos done before, so this was very exciting for both of us.  After just several shots, she got so comfortable in front of the camera and we had some good laughs.  Thanks, Kenzie!!
