The last year has gone by way too fast for Michael's mommy, that's for sure! I can't believe it has been so long since his newborn session. Time sure does fly!!!

We met at Lake Wilderness Park here in Maple Valley for his one year shoot. It may have been chilly (dude, where is the warm sun?!!), but at least it was dry for a change. He is having a lumberjack themed birthday party, so we took advantage of the woods around us and had some fun with props. I even made mom jump in a few shots (always a must!!).

Ian | 6 Months | Maple Valley, WA

Ian is already 6 months old!! And boy is he the cutest little chunk! We had a great mini milestone session at Lake Wilderness Park despite the rain towards the end of our session.

Amy & Arvid | Forest Engagement Session | Maple Valley, WA

I am so happy to report that I have officially booked my first 6 weddings for 2016!! It is going to be a very busy summer for me, but I am so thrilled for this exciting change for my business. 

I met with one of my June wedding couples for an engagement session. They were looking for a wintery, forest type setting and the Pacific Northwest is definitely the place to do it! Not far from my house in Maple Valley, we met up at one of my favorite spots… Lake Wilderness Arboretum. Amy and Arvid were up for a wet or dry shoot, but much to our surprise, it started snowing!! It was quite cold out, but they were troopers. And, absolutely adorable!!!

I love so many from their session, so it was so hard picking just some of my favorites. I can't wait to photograph them again on June 4, 2016!!

The "A" Boys | Seattle Children Photographer | Lake Wilderness Park, WA

These 2 little guys met me at a nearby park in Maple Valley, WA for an outdoor mini session. I had the pleasure of photographing little Liam a couple months ago at my home studio, so it was so fun meeting his older brother Luke. Those 2 are such characters!!

I can't believe the cooperation I got from the both of them in just our short time together. We even had mom and Grandma jump in for some fun! Here are a few of my favorites…

The "P" Family | Seattle Family Photographer | Maple Valley, WA

The "P" family and I had their family session booked for a few weeks and we were keeping our fingers crossed that we would get lucky and avoid the rain. We never thought that our biggest problem wouldn't be rain, but snow!! What an adventure that was!

We met at Lake Wilderness Park here in Maple Valley for a very wintery photo shoot. It had snowed the whole morning of and ended up being a beautiful afternoon. Although it was quite chilly, we all were such troopers. I can't believe I didn't hear one complaint from the kids… they were fantastic!! I promised a quick, but very successful session, and with perfect cooperation, we got sooooo many great shots in just over 30 minutes. I don't know if I'll get a chance again soon to shoot in that beautiful white backdrop of snow, so I am happy this family braved the weather with me!
